Paxman scalp cooling must be prescribed to access treatment. If your hospital/cancer center offers Paxman scalp cooling, and you are a solid tumor cancer patient, you can be prescribed scalp cooling prior to your first chemotherapy infusion. Your healthcare team will complete an enrolment form for you which is submitted to the Paxman Hub for processing. Your clinical team will also be responsible for sizing you for your cold cap.
