Hair shedding is completely normal, but for those who have gone through scalp cooling it can be difficult to remember what normal shedding looks like. A healthy person will on average lose around 100 hairs a day as part of the normal hir growth cycle.
The normal shedding cycle will continue through scalp cooling, with additional shedding as a result of the impact of the chemotherapy drugs.
