What is the difference between Paxman cap and other cooling caps?

Paxman is a type of mechanized scalp cooling, using a certified medical device operated by medical professionals in your treatment center. As a patient, all you have to do is prepare your hair for treatment, fit your cap. Your clinical team will attach the cap to the system and the system will do the cooling for you. Manual scalp cooling is a more involved process for the patient. Manual cold caps are kept at freezing temperatures, usually using dry ice, and must be swapped out during your infusion as they being to warm up (usually every 20 minutes). This process will require an additional person to assist with the process.
