When you can expect to see hair regrowth during scalp cooling will vary from person-to-person. The majority of people see regrowth within 12 to 16 weeks of completion of their chemotherapy treatment. Some, depending on chemotherapy regimen, may see hair regrowth before the end of treatment. After your treatment is ended, whilst hair shedding can continue, regrowth can also happen simultaneously.ÿ A recent clinical study in Japan showed that scalp cooling resulted in faster recovery of hair volume after chemotherapy, even in patients for whom scalp cooling failed to prevent chemotherapy-induced alopecia, within 12 weeks
